Just tap “Cancel” before confirming. Haven't confirmed yet? No harm done.
Bad signal?
If the connection drops, the app tells you immediately — no silent failures. Retry the scan in one tap the moment you're back online.

The screen only ever shows you one question with one button. There's nothing to get confused about.

Every scan you make is timestamped and logged. When the boss asks “how many cars did we do today?”, the answer is already there.
